JOE，四歲，鬼靈精一個，

好奇心強得跟個小大人一樣，

老是問東問西的，

該問的他問，不該他問的，也問個不停，

煩得讓妳真後悔把他生下來；

然後，看著他那認真的眼神，

讓妳又愛又憐又不捨，後來，

我跟我先生商量了一個方法：

不想讓他聽的字眼，就拆成一個一個字母；

小東西果然對這種碎裂的唸法沒皮條，

連最讓他抓狂的「玩具」拆成 T-O-Y 、

讓他「驚喜」拆成 S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E 以後，

他都沒反應；不像以前，

只要聽見「驚喜」，一定打破沙鍋問到底，

問得「驚喜」既不驚也不喜，

讓我只好偷偷的再準備另一份「驚喜」。

一家人也樂此不疲。


那段幸福的時間並不長，

先生和我，就為了一點芝麻小事鬧翻了；

無法控制情緒的我，

唯一的理性，就是絕口沒有在 JOE 面前

說出任何一個不該讓他聽懂的字眼。


那一天，我強忍著淚，別過臉，

一個一個唸出那最絕望的字，

D-I-V-O-R-C-E。我沒辦法哭。

更諷刺的是，當我們討論「監護」C-U-S-T-O-D-Y 的時候，

JOE 還開心的以為，

爸和媽大概是在討論聖誕假期的事，

或者，正在想要怎麼幫他過五歲的生日。


心淌著血，心也跟著碎裂的文字，碎成一片一片。


從來沒有想過，我的婚姻竟然是這樣的結局。

看著兩個我最愛的男人，JOE和你，

想著即將墜入的地獄，

我哽咽，我後悔；


親愛的，你還願意接受我嗎？
